Born from an era of personal freedom in performance, Punkrock Johnson is a singer/songwriter, making rock, blues and folk tunes that are playful, brooding, and existential. Absurdity, pure expression, and the essential act of creating art is what Punkrock Johnson is built on.

Punkrock Johnson is currently writing and recording her first album. She frequently plays venues in downtown Manhattan with her band, who are fellow members of the infinite Johnson family. She is widely remembered for her wildly bold and powerfully vulnerable performances.
